| Pokédex Entry | These relaxed Flora Pokémon congregate on the hills whenever there is a breeze. The wind picks up the seeds from the thistledown on their heads and disperses it many miles. Legend had it that this is how Wisprout multiplied, though this has since been disproved after scientists discovered Eggs with a wild breeding couple. | |

| History | The final incarnation of my first faker Gramistle is Wisprout; still a cutie, and one I think is stylistically better. Wisprout retains Gramistle's (rather late) addition of a yellow belly, but loses the long tail (gets a nub tail instead!) and spines. These may reappear in the evolutions. In Gramistle's case, the growing-place seen in previous Grass types (back, head, neck, etc) was its tail; Wisprout gets it on its head instead. | |
