Pokédex Entry	Nobody knows what its body looks like under its neck. It is able to unleash powerful jolts of static electricity through both its cheek pouches and the red coloured part of the jar. It is surmised that the body grows and melds with the jar, as evidenced in Mitey's evolutions.

Previously known as	N/A (although the original Electric starter was called Ampett (Amp + Pet))
History	Ampett was a static-furred Pikachu-esque creature. I was racking my brains earlier in 2010 for some good idea for a redux; I knew I wanted to take the idea of the electric rodent with visible cheek pouches (which has become a bit of theme in each successive official generation with the original Pikachu family, then Plusle 'n Minun, then Pachirisu and finally Emolga), but wanted a twist on it. One morning for brekkie I had vegemite on toast whilst brainstorming, and little Mitey was thus born.
