Basil Village: the small settlement surrounded by bush and beach. Would-be Trainers meet here annually to choose and receive their very first Starter Pokémon.
Tarragon City: the hub of what is referred to colloquially as 'the Shire'. This city is home to many more modern buildings than its 'daughter' Basil Village, and boasts of a large and bustling community. Routes from Tarragon towards other towns and cities are numerous.
Coriander Town: the only town in the midst of rolling open hills. Most families living in this area own farms, and keep herds of grazing Pokémon who thrive on the lush grass.
Oregano Town: a forest town. Rather than chopping trees down, residents of Oregano Town prefer to live among them. Any wandering Trainer local to here journeying south tends to be surprised at Coriander Town's open space - and vice versa.
Paprika City: was once located further south, but residents were forced to move north towards the river as rainfall proved not enough to support the town. The encroaching arid desert is a real worry for Paprika City and Masala Town alike, who are only able to live on rainfall and distilled river water.
Masala Town: a beach town. The relaxed, happy mood is balm on any touristing Trainer's soul whenever they visit here, after the stresses and struggles of battling and training. Locals recently have latched upon this idea and started promoting the town, festivals, and other events to potential tourists around Minami. Even the Gym battles are held at the large beach for publicity's sake.
Caraway Town: a town on one of Minami's smaller islands; called 'Sanctuary Island' by the Pokémon (the humans are none-the-wiser about this). Caraway Town is a seaside community and supports most of the Minami salt-water fishermen. The dockhand will give you a tour provided you have any recent information or gossip on what's happening on the main island of Minami.
Aniseed Village: a tiny village cut in half by a narrow stretch of water. Mostly the people who live here are former residents of Basil Village wishing for a little more seclusion. The only way to get there besides atop a Pokémon is to board the small ferry, a service which also offers tours of the active sea volcano a few kilometre's from the village.
Fennel Town: a river town, the wooden houses joined together by floating logs and rope. Only a few actually live on solid ground next to the river.
Hyssop Village: the first settlement of travellers to survive stayed here and thus it is remembered as a major point in Minami's history. However it is still given village status due to its smaller size.
Aoteato's North Island: Only recently discovered. Both islands are a natural paradise, home to a few rare and individual Pokémon species not found on the bigger island of Minami. Down the island's centre length stretches an impressive mountainous region which is snowcapped during the winter months.
Aoteato's South Island: Only recently discovered. Both islands are a natural paradise, home to a few rare and individual Pokémon species not found on the bigger island of Minami. In the middle lies a dormant volcano.
