The GG Plan no. 2

"During the later years of our club when Minami was a far greater influence on my Pokémon creativity, we decided to push the boundaries of our characters, ideas, stories and fakers a little more. We both agreed we wanted to take the phenomenon that was Pokémon into our own hands, hold it and study it, rip out a few parts which looked ugly and maybe even add a few missing pieces - to make it our own; to rebel against the norm, in a sense. We discussed this at length (some of the details of which are recorded for posterity in the GG Plans). And ended up with a whole new Element list, a major switch in Cedar's character, edited fakers, more plot details and a few more major changes in our thinking."

(taken from 'About The GG')

This is the second plan. As you'll probably note, its content is far different to the original plan. This is possibly because I was really embroiled with Minami ideas at the time, which is why most of the ideas noted here for discussion have to do with Minami or at the least are related. Oh, and to the people screaming, "Hey! Stories about humans turning into Pokémon based on their personalities is Mystery Dungeon!", well; I came up with that idea way before MD even hit the scene in Japan. My sketchy outlines for what happened afterwards, of course, were nowhere near as good... ^^ (if it interests you, that original idea has been taken and changed a little and made a little more canon thanks to the MD games, and will definitely be used as a Minami story...)

Once more, yada yada, names have been changed, formatting is different, spelling errors have been kept...

Issue No. 1.

The Pokémon

First off, let's start with the Kanto (and etc) Pokémon.

Our "Goneskies" List removes 66 or so as I remember.

For any time that they are shown; for example in Cedar's Journeys, the Pokémon species have changed. They have different basic traits and personalities, as well as there being subtle differences to physical appearances.

The Apocalypse: some die out (our Goneskies List), more are created (we should probably look into this because I found it written on our last plan) more are changed (which fits into our idea).

Minami Pokémon

*gasps* I need to kill off a few of mine (they suck) and resurrect a few more. Shall we go through with a fine toothed comb? I probably need another opinion rather than my up-myself attitude...

Passive Starter: I have an idea for one (as I have been fine with all the others, but haven't been able to come up with a Starter for a while now. It's one of my "not-Pokémon" characters from a long time ago. And it DID have psychic powers, soooooo, see what you think.

Also, depending on whether or not we can get onto Host Ultra, we could add a few more into the Pokédex while we're in that frame of mind.

I don't know the Fauna Dragon's name.

Also I've compiled a table of all the Pokémon we've created; also a few pending ones. So far we've got most of it entered. We only have one Omni one though; Karda. I think we don't need any more legendaries (we already have one dragon for every element after all) but I'll see what you think!

Issue No 2.

Cedar

Already I have her Kanto Journey episode plan online (tell me if you want to get rid of it) but no links to the story as yet.

*sighs* MUST... GET... EPISODE... DONE... ARRGH! He-he...

You wanted to put more episodes in, Aaria; so let's do that. Also if you had any plans for a Kanto movie we could argue that over. I had an idea or two... see what you think.

Hmmm; what else can be said about Cedar. Eeep! I don't remember! Anyway, I'm sure we'll be able to initiate some conversation about her.

Issue No. 3.

Minami Movie!

Ok here's where I've actually got a lot to say... (Trust me!) *changes font size*

I have finished writing Part One; right up to where the Guardian surrenders, and forms the fourteen dragons, which all fall into slumber.

Let's write the next bit together! I want some other input into how you take on the newly awakened Guardian. I had this idea last night in bed where you could either attack with all your powers (all elements) from outside, or do a typical anime thing where you get inside and there's all this muscle with veins sticking out (think Akira) and you could damage a bit there (no I'm not weird at all!).

I also had this really cool scene imagining thing where as soon as all the dragons awake they're all flying in a straight line over this flat piece of land and Karda (you told me he was omni so that's where I got this idea from) could be like thrice the size and he flies directly above them and there could be this really cool overhead shot... anyway it looked good in my head. Then the dragons all form into the Guardian...

Also we should try and figure out what actually makes the Dragons all awake... some sort of promise has to be fulfilled or something... maybe when one Pokémon of every single element dies...

I also have a few ideas about other movie storylines.

Mewarth the Glitch Pokémon: Hmmm, something to do with Mew perhaps? I had an idea when he could steal or glitch up Mew and all the other legendaries could try and rescue Mew... it's kinda bad... you've probably got a good idea of where you want to take Mewarth's story.

Shadox: We could maybe have an extended episode *thinks about Mewtwo Returns* about the Shadox and their history?

Weird idea: Where all our human characters (Kanto journey characters) could be changed into their Pokémon counterparts; ones that align to their temperament and personality.

And last but not least: the Poketeki idea which has been floating around in my head for ages. After Team Rocket or (if this is in Cedar's time and age) some other Team come across some prototypes for Mewtwo's armour, they think it was for a metal animal, not for any living Pokémon. So they construct a metal creature that they use to do evil deeeeds... (oooh!) and in the end it's brought down using magnets or something. Meh. Anyway it's sort of copying that anime that use metal animals to fight. So sue me.

Issue No. 4.

Movedex

Erm. I was thinking apart from having really cool elemental moves in Minami; we could have a structured list of all the physical and non-physical moves in there. Can we try and list all the physical moves that any Pokémon may be able to inflict against an opponent? I was trying to do this on my own, and came up with a few more, such as Smack, Shake, Ram, Push and Pull.

Also, I was looking at some moves and I figured out that some moves have an 'evolution' move that is practically the same yet inflicts much more damage. For example; Scratch evolves into Slash, Bite evolves into Crunch and if you were looking for an elemental move, Absorb evolves into Mega Drain, then Giga Drain. Hmmm... how weird...

Issue No. 5.

Trainerdex

I made a cool HTML table to put all our information on all the Trainers we have. Only I don't know much about Robert and Lisa (like how many tokens they have and stuff like that). I also think we should probably have a look at every single one we've created and see if we can get rid of a few (of mine; that is).

Maybe we don't even have enough though... we can always fix that... hehehe...

Issue No. 6.

Pokémon Rocks Australia

This is just another one of my (stupid) ideas... I had a big daydream about getting something together and going round a few places. I'm getting sick of not being able to get some of the legendaries on my Emerald version (Mew and others) and even though we wouldn't be able to give other people them; maybe it'd just be a fun (expensive) thing to organise something.

We could hire out a hall and bring all our CD's, Game Boy's, movies, cards and just set up the hall with all these different sections for different Pokémon stuff. It'd give Pokémon fans a few hours to trade, battle, watch movies and episodes and just talk to other Pokémon fans.

Heaven knows I have too many bad ideas... it's something that'd be too time consuming and too expensive to think about. It's all good for Nintendo who can just dispatch some chicks and a few consoles that spit out endless Celebi to all the fans, but it'd be a bit too hard for just some teens to worry about.

Ah well. At least I can dream.

Issue No. 7.

Elements

I don't know whether we should keep most of the current theories about what's super effective or whether we should change it a bit. Remember how we burnt the ice cube? If we tried to really nut out what would actually happen if this element hit another element. Of course; some really speak for themselves, such as Water attacking Fire.

What about Dark and Light? They live in a direct opposite to each other. I don't know if we agreed on the stronger of the two being super effective (for example: Dark level 20 and Light being level 16 then Dark would be super effective against Light and vice versa) or whether they would just be normal attacks.

It's also a bit weird for the Passive Combat opposites. If a Combat attacked a Passive it would either be super effective (the Passive couldn't stop the attack at all) or not effective (mind over matter and so it doesn't get effected by the attack). Which one sounds better? And what will happen if a Passive attacks a Combat? Maybe the two should both be not effective to each other; but this makes the current theory that Psychic is super effective against Fighting null and void. Arrggh.
