And now for something completely colloquial:
We don't own Pokémon. We wish we did, (because then a lot of the little official critters would never have seen the light of day) but that's another story altogether. Pokémon is owned by the companies stated above. Nintendo is awesome.
Because we don't own the idea, nor do we work for any of the companies, naturally we have our own views as to what's good about it. That may or may not tie in to what's officially stated and considered canon. We use some canon and some fanon, you see.
If you plan on using anything such as ideas and concepts from the site, please let us know. (We'd love to read/view anything that even vaguely resembles fanstuff!)
The words 'Pokémon' and 'Minami' do not belong to us but we claim ownership of the title 'Pokémon Minami' as the idea for a new region and the title of the website. The word Pokémon belongs to the above companies. The word 'Minami' belongs to the Japanese, as much as any word can belong to its country of origin.
Cho'moken, Tajiri and related concepts belong to Gemma Bright of Pokémon Rebirth. Yes, I asked her permission to use them on this site and was granted said permission. All other unofficial concepts and characters - human and otherwise - belong to The Gissetti Group: either me or Aaria unless otherwise stated. You may not claim them as your own or use them anywhere with credit unless we give prior permission.
Don't steal our artwork or fiction. Oh, and don't bother to steal this layout. You can find the same simple template I'm using at the moment just as easily on the net as I did, people!
